1. Why borrow instead of buying? Back to top ^
There are heaps of reasons why you should borrow rather than buy. For example, you could borrow many items from LM&LM for the same price of buying one single item. This gives you the flexibility to follow the latest fashion trends without accumulating a closet full of outdated accessories that cost a fortune!
Also, borrowing lets you 'try before you buy'. If you are not quite sure whether you want to make that pricey purchase, borrow the item from LM&LM first to give it a test run. If you then want to buy it, contact us and we'll arrange a great price for - it's all included in your LM&LM membership.
2. How much does it cost to be a member? Back to top ^
Membership is free! You only pay for what you buy or borrow. Once you are a member, you will have access to a cyber wardrobe full of designer fashion to borrow at either a weekly or monthly rate. If borrowing is not your thing, you can visit our e-boutique as a non-member and make outright purchases.
3. Is there a minimum term of membership? Back to top ^
No. The term of your membership period is up to you. Membership is free for the life of the membreship. If you want to cancel your membership, please contact us at service@lovemeandleaveme.com.au
4. How long can I borrow an item? Back to top ^
You can borrow something beautiful for as long as you wish. Keep it for a week, a month or a year. You will be billed according to the period of time the item is in your possession. Overdue rentals will be billed at the weekly rate until the item is returned to us. However, you can notify us and request to be billed at the additional monthly rate instead whereby your rental period will be altered accordingly.
5. Can I borrow more than one item at once? Back to top ^
You sure can. Why wouldn't you want to borrow the shoes that match the bag that match the dress? At LM&LM, you can borrow 3 items at any one time.
6. What is my Wish List? Back to top ^
All items in our product galleries with the status "Wish List" are temporarily unavailable, meaning they are currently on loan or stock has been depleated of that item. By selecting "Wish List" for an item of interest, you will be adding the item to your personalised wish list which you can view and manage in your member only Personal Page once you have logged in. The Wish List acts as a "first in, first served" system allowing you to be short listed for items when they return to stock - so you never have to miss out!
Once your wish listed item returns to stock you will be automatically notified via email along with all other members who have wish listed that item - then it is up to you to jump on our website ASAP and borrow the item before anyone else does.
7. Can I make a request for any item not listed on LM&LM? Back to top ^
Of course! If you have your eye on something currently in season that LM&LM has not yet stocked, let us know. Our buying team will endeavour to fulfil your fashion desires.
8. When is my credit card charged for my item rental? Back to top ^
An initial charge will be made to your credit card on the day your item is sent to you. If you have not returned your borrowed item within the one-week or one-month period you specified, we will bill you at the weekly rate until the item is returned to us. However, you can notify us and request to be billed at the additional monthly rate instead whereby your rental period will be altered accordingly.
9. Does my borrowed item have to be received by LM&LM within the one week or one month borrow period to escape further charges? Back to top ^
No. Your selected one-week or one-month borrowing period commences when you sign the delivery acceptance form provided by the courier, and ends when you hand the product over to the courier for return to LM&LM. This information is also outlined for you in the letter which comes with your rental.
10. Are LM&LM products copies or originals? Back to top ^
Our items are certified to be authentic by in-house experts at LM&LM. Characteristics such as stampings, authenticity marks, overall workmanship and materials have been inspected and determined to be consistent with the manufacturer's established standards of quality. If applicable, manufacturer date codes and serial numbers have been verified for consistency. Items have been compared to on-hand reference items for further verification of authenticity. We do whatever it takes to ensure our stock is 100% authentic, so, within 30 days upon receipt, if the item's authenticity is brought into question, it may be returned free of charge for further investigation which may result in a full refund.
Nobody at LM&LM would be caught dead wearing a replica or copy of any kind! Fakes are a fashion faux pas!
11. Tell me about the condition of LM&LM accessories Back to top ^
Every item listed on LM&LM is either brand new or otherwise "like new". We have stringent quality control procedures in place to ensure that each item you borrow arrives in great condition. At LM&LM, we hope that all our members treat each of their borrowed items as if they were their own.
12. What if the item I am borrowing becomes dirty, breaks or is stolen / lost? Back to top ^
We expect that all items that are borrowed from LM&LM will be returned to us in a similar condition. Whilst we understand that everyday wear and tear is inevitable, you will be responsible for repair or replacement where the wear and tare is deemed by us to be excessive. Similarly, you will be responsible if the item is lost or stolen.
In these instances, contact us immediately and we will advise you on the appropriate course of action. If your issue cannot be sufficiently remedied, we will let you know before your credit card is charged with a reasonable repair or replacement fee. We do understand that every case is unique and the fee payable to LM&LM will be based on the current condition of the item, the age of the item and the items history.
13. Where do you deliver and how long does it take to receive my item after I have confirmed my selection? Back to top ^
LM&LM offers a national delivery service to all major cities and towns. If you are unsure whether we deliver to your location, please contact us. Depending on your location you will receive your selected item within 1-3 working days. If you require any item for a particular occasion, contact us and we'll advise you as to whether we can deliver it to you within your required timeframe.
14. Who pays for postage and handling? Back to top ^
LM&LM charges a delivery fee of $19.00 per delivery. If you borrow more than one item at one time you will be charged for only one delivery fee.
15. Do I need to be available to accept my delivery? Back to top ^
Yes. LM&LM uses a reliable courier service ensuring that your parcel arrives safely and on time. If you are unable to accept your delivery the courier will leave a "sorry we missed you" calling card and you will be able to arrange an alternative delivery time. Let us know if you have any special delivery requirements and we will do our best to satisfy them.
16. How do I return my item to LM&LM? Back to top ^
We will enclose detailed easy to follow instructions with your delivered item outlining the steps involved with returning your item safely back to LM&LM. It is important that you follow these instructions.
17. Can I change the location where an item is to be delivered? Back to top ^
Yes. Your item will be sent by default to the location you specified when you signed up as a LM&LM member. However, if you would like your product sent to a different location, you can enter an alternative address when you check out and are asked to confirm your details and your delivery address.
18. What happens if I fall in love with the accessory and want to keep it? Can I buy it? Back to top ^
We totally understand! LM&LM members often fall in love with their borrowed accessory and can't bear to return it. If this happens to you, contact us and request a quote. As a valued LM&LM member we will do our best to provide you with a great deal. We will take into account the age, history, condition of the item as well as the availability of the item in the market place.
19. What forms of payment do you accept? Back to top ^
At this stage we accept MasterCard and VISA. We do not accept cheques or money orders. After reviewing our Security Policy, if you are still hesitant in entering your credit card details over the Internet, you can give us your details over the telephone or via fax - just contact us FREECALL 1300 LOVE ME.
20. Is my personal information kept private? Is it safe to use my credit card on LM&LM? Back to top ^
Please review our Privacy Policy and be assured that we do take your privacy seriously. We will never sell, share or give your personal information to any third party for any reason. Your credit card details are not viewed by us or by any person except you, at any time during any LM&LM transaction. They are encrypted and passed directly to the Bank through our security provider. 21. What happens if I forget my password? Back to top ^
No problem! If you forget your password, simply enter your email address into the Member Sign-in area and select the "Forgot your password" option. We'll send you an email confirming your new password. You are also able to change your password in your Personal Page.
22. Why was my credit card declined? What happens now? Back to top ^
If your credit card is declined after you have entered the appropriate details on the Join Now page, your membership will not be processed and you will be asked to enter valid credit card details. In this instance we recommend that you contact your bank or financial institution. Alternatively, use another credit card.
If your credit card is declined when you have selected an item to borrow LM&LM will contact you. In this instance, the credit card details you provided when you joined as a Member from the Join Now page were valid at that time, however they are no longer valid for some reason. You may wish to contact your bank or financial institution. Alternatively, contact us and provide us with alternative credit card information. Please note that your item will not be delivered to you if we are unable to process your credit card.
23. Can I put my membership on hold? Back to top ^
No. It is best that you cancel your membership by contacting us at service@lovemeandleaveme.com. When you are ready to use our service again, please sign up for membership again through our 'Join Now' page.
24. Can I transfer my membership over to someone else? Back to top ^
You are unable to transfer your membership over to someone else. However, membership is free so why not encourage your friend to join now!
25. How do I cancel my membership? Back to top ^
If for some reason you need to cancel your membership, please contact customer service at service@lovemeandleaveme.com and we will discuss the required steps involved.
